One Cision to Rule Them All
Overall Satisfaction with Cision Communications Cloud
Our organization uses Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite)* across the entire team as a means of tracking the mentions in the press for each of our PR clients, staying alert on high volume mentions and potential crises, as well as keeping track of the value of our work for our clients.

Pros
- Cision Communications Cloud has detailed graphics to show in an easy-to-understand manner the comparison and status of each company/individual we are keeping track of.
- Cision Communications Cloud has wonderful, fast, helpful customer service -- answering questions in as little as 2 minutes. This is extremely helpful when putting together a report on a deadline.
- Cision's interface is very easy to use, easy to understand, and clean.
Cons
- We have had many circumstances of Cision Communications Cloud not monitoring specific outlets that we need monitored. This causes an issue with tracking the value of our work or the share of voice comparison for our clients, as results may not be all-encompassing.
- A good amount of advertising is included in the mentions brought in by Cision. While the team is very helpful in removing the advertisements upon request, it would be great to not have to worry about earned media and paid media being tracked as one and the same.
- Cision PR Software
Cision (TrendKite)* is the leader in their field. While Cision (pre-TrendKite acquisition) has worked to catch up to their analytics ability, Cision (now with TrendKite) was the breakthrough company in PR Analytics. They are easy to use, relatively inexpensive, and constantly expanding into new fields of coverage.
