Overall Satisfaction with Typeform

Our organization regularly survey constituents, whether students, alumni, or donors. We have tried a number of surveying platforms over the years with varying degrees of success. Typeform has provided the best interface for our constituents. Each department manages its own surveys. These can be stored in individual folders within Typeform. Surveys can easily be duplicated for re-use without losing prior information. User interaction with Typeform surveys is clean. I really like that all the questions aren't presented at one time, but that questions appear as respondents move through the survey. There are a variety of question formats, from radio tab to multiple-choice, short-answer, and email/phone. Typeform has become our go-to for gathering feedback on a wide range of topics as we engage with constituents and their interests.
  • Easy to create survey from scratch.
  • Drop-and-drag elements for ordering and re-ordering.
  • When duplicating surveys, it can be helpful to have time-sensitive questions highlighted to make sure these key fields are updated correctly.
  • Typeform has provided more information from constituents in a more timely manner.
  • Typeform allows us to create attractive, branded surveys that have the look and feel of our website.
I find the layout and design of Typeform more suited for our academic surveys. There is a crisp, professionalism about the layout and design. I prefer the design features and presentation of the Typeform emails.
We survey lots of people. Typeform enables us to gather, collect, and download information for analysis. Surveys can be varied in length, with customizable elements. Particularly when you have branching logic in responses, Typeform provides easy A-B logic trees based on respondent answers. We regularly embed surveys in emails or on Facebook. Typeform may be less appropriate should you want to have respondents engage with varied media like photos, videos, or presentations. We have not attempted to use Typeform in this way.

Using Typeform

6 - We have employees that use Typeform for surveying internal employees, external constituents, donors, alumni, and students both current and future. As such, we are using Typeform surveys at almost every level of our organization for gathering feedback and input about concepts, projects, and changes that have either been launched or are projected to be launched in the coming months.
1 - Our larger communications team manages our internal Typeform support. They help with branding consistency, layout and design, and distribution of surveys through one of our communication platforms. Because Typeform is so user friendly, most people are able to learn the system themselves after a little coaching and training from the communications team.
  • Excellent design
  • Flexible Questions
  • Through Social Media.
  • Internally with different groups of constituents.
  • We may target mobile users by sending surveys via text message.
We have had such success with Typeform, and it has been able to exceed our expectations for the range of products it offers.

Evaluating Typeform and Competitors

  • Price
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
For the range of capacity, Typeform is extremely affordable. The ability to house, manage, create, distribute, and duplicate surveys has been invaluable in gathering valuable data. And when you pay for a year in advance, the Professional Level is the same price as the Essential Level (on a month to month basis).
I don't know that we would.
