Overall Satisfaction with UKG Ready

We use UKG for Payroll, HR, Benefits, and timekeeping. The problem that we have right now is we are a railroad and we tax differently (unemployment and taxing come from the railroad retirement board. Sometimes we have to customize our needs or make a workaround.

  • We are a railroad so we need customized reports and do not fit in with regular payrolls that use regular SS and Medicare
  • benefit management lots of errors - lots of time wasted
  • increased employee engagement with pop up
  • 2 day paycheck view increased engagement with employees
Nightmare. We have been in implementation for 2 years!
UKG Ready has its positives and negatives. Some are UKG but some are my fault, I have many hats and do not have time to look at all the features.
It worked well without 3rd party benefits.

UKG is great for companies that are not railroads. I am fairly new to the railroad business so I have a lot to learn myself.
