Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using Workforce across our organization for timekeeping only.

Pros and Cons

Timekeeping.

Lots of difficulties with implantation.
Had lots of issues that has required assistance.
When fixing one issue, it seems to upset several other things.
Sometimes slow turn around on needs.
Counters are difficult to set up, and to get in the exact right order.
Reports are horrible.
Viewing layout is not great. Requires too much scrolling.

Return on Investment

+ Employees can now review their own time which was never an option before.
+ Clocking in and out on PC's.
- System reliability
- Managers do not like having to scroll, and move from tab to tab to perform functions.
- Reports are hard to set up and navigate.

We were at end of life with our TKC version, so we had to upgrade.

I miss TKC, it was much easier to navigate, and was easier for managers to make their own edits. It was easier to run/print reports.

New counters were much easier to set up.

Industry Expertise

Had lots of issues with our pay counters working correctly. Lots of down time, before being moved over to time 6. Lots of redoing reports, due to an upgrade missing up our previously saved settings.

Role-based Success

Reports are hard to set up and to navigate. Are not printer friendly. The plus is we can export those to excel, and manipulate to met our needs. It is difficult to pull the needed information.

Very good my learning section. Very good directions, and easy to follow step by step instructions.

We only use UKG for our timekeeping. Timekeeping is OK. We have several counters, and that is where we have had numerous issues. The reporting side was used as a sale point, and unfortunately the reports are not as great, as we were made to believe. We have been live since around the first of June, and I don't think I have had one payroll to process, without having to involve Global Support because of something not working correctly.

Old is sometimes better!
