Veeam Backup & Replication allows us to backup our data in a secure & logical way, giving us peace of mind that should any files get accidentally deleted, or if there is an issue with a virtual machine, we have the means to restore to when it was last working correctly.
We also link in our backups with Veeam Cloud Connect, for secure, off-site backup, as part of our backup procedure.

Veeam Backup & Replication protects all of our virtual workloads (about 20 virtual machines) & all of our users files.
As we have expanded, our Veeam workload has done so as well with no issues.

- Veeam Cloud Connect has enabled us to take a step further in our Cyber Security journey.
- When key data has been deleted accidentally, we have been able to restore it completely with no loss of data - meaning very relieved users!
Veeam Backup & Replication was brought into my place of work when I started, so I've always had it whilst I have been here, but I definitely wouldn't want to be without it!
I know there are a lot of other competitors for backup & replication, but Veeam is the one we always come back to & renew with, year after year.

As we're primarily on-premise, we don't really have any cloud workloads which require backing up.
But as things change in the future, I'm sure we'll begin to utilise these features.

We have an Archive NAS & a Apple TimeMachine NAS. With Veeam, we can safely backup the contents of these to preserve key moments in history as an organisation & will be able to do so for the years to come.
