We use it back up all our VMware network. That gives us a full back of every server and VDI desktop. We also have 2 other backup solutions in place. Veeam is mostly use to restore user profiles.

We are protecting 93 virtual servers. We went from 10 virtual servers to 93 over ten years with Veeam.
- backup options that can do the same thing for free.
Just need to add another backup option rule of 3. If we removed Veeam today nothing would change.We mostly use it as a 3 option. Only time the software get opened is to updated it or fixing a backup.
