Overall Satisfaction with Ventiv Claims
We are using Ventiv Claims/Claims Enterprise, for our Self-Insured, Self-Administered Workers' Compensation Program for our 40,000 employees. Ventiv Claims is used for all aspects of our Workers' Compensation claims management from incident intake, to reserves, to payments, all documentation, all notes, lost time and restricted duty tracking, state forms, departmental form letters, electronic reporting to the state for FROIs, etc. We also use the Adhoc/Jasper Reporter to report our data and create dashboards.
- Business rules and choices of business rules that you can use.
- Organization/hierarchy maintenance.
- Managing reserves and payments.
- Ability to customize.
- Little bugs/glitches that require a story, patch, or upgrade to fix.
- Initial security setup was A LOT to set up on all the fields and the different security groups.
- A positive impact would be that our claims management is now all electronic and we use to have paper files.
- I have no ROI numbers because I am not privy to our budget numbers in my position.
Being able to report out our finances and truly trust the data, business rules set up that allows for complete tracking of a claim from beginning to end with email alerts, audit capability of fields ad tabs, email alert notification of new incidents, everything is all electronic now so you don't have to go searching through a paper file to find anything related to a claim.

RL Solutions/RLDatix was another company that we evaluated but they did not have anything Workers' Comp related at the time.
Origami Risk was another company that we evaluated but they didn't have anything Workers' Comp related at the time and were very pricy.
RiskMaster was the product we used many moons ago for managing Workers' Comp software.
We selected Ventiv because of their history and how long they had been in the industry with Workers' Compensation.
