Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

We use it both internally between teams and employees as well as with customers around the country. The entire company uses it. It enables us to efficiently connect with people all over without having to travel. My team is geographically diverse so it enables us to remain in close contact throughout the week.

  • Cool factor.
  • Less travel.
  • Work with more customers per day.
  • Improve communication.
Everyone is setup as a meeting host, many people use it on a daily or weekly basis. I often have days where I use Webex Meetings 3-5 times between different meetings.
  • Azure SSO
  • Office365 email
These were easy to implement while following the documentation.
Zoom and MS Teams both have good platforms too. We use Webex Meetings because it is what we started with.

Do you think Webex Meetings delivers good value for the price?

Did Webex Meetings live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Webex Meetings go as expected?

Would you buy Webex Meetings again?

Yes

Webex Meetings is great where people need consistent, high quality meetings. It may not be a great fit for very small environments or customers. The noise cancellation feature has been stellar and still appears to work better than competitors. This feature is fantastic. The ability to add calling is an added benefit for some orgs.

Cisco Hybrid Work

  • Webex Meetings
  • Webex App
  • Webex Calling
  • Cisco Webex Desk Camera
  • Cisco Headset 500 Series
  • Cisco AnyConnect
  • Working from anywhere (e.g., coffee shop, airport)
  • Working from an office or other company space
  • Working from home
Some parts of the company are 100% remote or hybrid. Other parts remain in the office the majority of the time. We are spread across multiple states, so even people working in offices are often collaborating with team members located elsewhere.
Many departments have always been hybrid, so it was a natural progression over the last couple of years.
Using Webex and other Cisco tools we've been able to stay in contact with ourselves and customers. More of our work is performed remotely with customers now, and that has reduced travel time/cost, along with increasing productivity during the day. Using Webex for screensharing is a natural and comfortable way to work with customers now.
We enjoy the flexibility and increase in productivity. Sometimes we would need to drive 1+ hours to visit a customer onsite for only a couple of hours. Now, we can perform a lot of work remotely, saving the onsite work for physical deployments or meetings.
Cisco Webex compares well with Zoom and MS Teams. I have used a lot of the different platforms and they all work well. Cisco was what we used pre-pandemic, and is what we still use for most externally facing meetings. We appreciate the security, scalability, and reliability of Webex. It usually 'just works'.

Webex Meetings Reliability

I can barely remember any outages, even during COVID lockdown.
This has been improving, but it seems like Webex Meetings' platform may not be the fastest to generate things like reports, recordings, etc.
There does not appear to be any scalability issues with Webex Meetings.
