Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

We use Webex Meetings to conduct business conferences with our suppliers and vendors. Many of our vendors/suppliers use Webex Meetings, and we have no choice but to abide by their preference. We are able to fix supply issues/questions and other subjects that normally would require a phone call or, more importantly, an in-person meeting.
  • Webex Meetings provides secure connections
  • Webex Meetings is stable
  • Webex Meetings have smooth streaming
  • Webex Meetings meets the requirements of major suppliers/vendors
  • It does not have the popularity of Zoom
  • It is not as user friendly as Zoom
  • It is not near as powerful as Microsoft Teams
  • Webex Meetings has helped us stay in contact with our suppliers and vendors virtually face to face.
  • Webex Meetings has saved us money from having to commute to visit our suppliers and vendors.
  • Webex Meetings is not as simple as it could be, so the learning curve is a little more than, say, Zoom.
I have not utilized support for Webex Meetings and therefore do not have a predetermined rating. I would guess from the quality of the software that, if necessary, support would be rather helpful, considering when problems do arise, they are resolved rather quickly.

The interface is not as simple as Zoom, and it lacks the power that Microsoft Teams provides. A much simpler connection algorithm and a display interface that works more like Microsoft Teams would be a great help to Webex Meetings' overall usability.
We did not take advantage of Webex Meetings' professional services.
We use the free version of Webex Meetings to allow us to connect with suppliers/vendors that demand Webex Meetings be used for collaboration.
Webex Meetings is great if you only have a handful of people needing to converse. With a lot of people connected to a meeting, i.e., five people or more, it can start to lag. It also suffers severely in the whiteboard department compared to Microsoft Teams. A simpler interface (think Zoom) would also be extremely helpful.

Evaluating Webex Meetings and Competitors

We chose Webex Meetings free to converse visually with our suppliers/vendors that require Webex Meetings to be used.
If we had a choice, we would use Zoom for simple video communications or Microsoft Teams if we needed more functionality such as Whiteboard, Screen Sharing, etc.
We chose Webex Meetings because of the prerequisite of our suppliers/vendors. If we had a choice, we would choose Zoom for simple video communications or Microsoft Teams for more demanding video communications, including things like better whiteboard functionality, much better screen sharing, and text chatting - all in one window.
