Overall Satisfaction with Wingman

We use Wingman for a lot of different use cases but they fall within three big ones: 1. Share of customer's voice - Being able to share snippets throughout the company for PR, marketing, and products is a big win for a startup looking for product-market fit 2. Training and coaching - Being able to ramp up SDRs and AEs quicker by allowing them to dive into any of our past calls, review calls that lead to wins, review calls that lead to losses, and score calls over time to track progress. 3. Insights - We use the deal center to surface deals that need attention
  • Game tapes - The ability to create categories of selected conversations
  • Customer support - They are on top of things when we have questions or need to learn how to use a certain feature
  • Consistency of recording - their bots join every call and transcribe it well
  • UI needs some improvement from a navigation perspective shifting from icons to text and icons would help and improved game tapes feature
  • Better onboarding and understanding of how to properly set up the desktop app, the word triggers, and how to make the most out of the software
  • More education around the deal center and how to use it
  • Share of voice with internal teams
  • Faster rep learning and ramping
  • Surfacing insights from deals we couldn't see in Hubspot
We evaluated Gong and Chorus and we felt that each competitor had feature parity, meaning each of the competitors didn't have wildly different offerings. When it came down to our needs at the time, we really just needed a tool to help with a share of voice and rep training. We weren't in the market for deal insights yet so when we compared the pricing models of each, we felt that Wingman was more in-line with the value we saw from the tool while Gong and Chorus promoted themselves as the "luxury" or "premium brand" which is why they wanted to charge $3k a year per user compared to Wingman's ~$600. We also thought the Gong team was more aggressive in their style of pitching, pain finding, solution building and follow-up. We appreciated the more laid back friendly approach that Wingman took.
