It's used across the corporate office for project management and across the company for support tickets. It helps us track the progress of projects and build custom intake forms for specific departments. This reduces the back and forth and conversations. We can also easily track KPIs across various teams.
- The reporting features allow non technical resources to build amazing reports and dashboards.
- It's easy to start a project or kickoff a new project using a template that is already built out. From there it's easy to add new tasks or track the progress of tasks via the MS Outlook plug in.
- Custom forms can be built out easily with no technical expertise. This allows different departments to track KPIs that are relevant to their business.
- It would be nice if there were additional pricing options for different types of licenses.
- This software is a culture change. It doesn't complete the tasks for you. The change needs to start at the top. If you get everyone using the system it may feel like a step backwards because you can actually see what everyone is working on. Output may slow down because people are now held accountable. Some employees may have a hard time with this culture change. Management needs to become better at resourcing and prioritization as a result. Overall, it's worth going through temporary pain to long term gain.
Workfront has better implementation and training. They have top tier clients which help push innovation. It's a SaaS model, so they no succeed unless you do.
