Overall Satisfaction with Workfront
Workfront is currently used across my entire organization. It's used for project work and time tracking and connects all the various groups tat support work across the organization.
- Tasking to set specific start/end dates for users and collection conversations on that work.
- Easy time entry through the timesheet.
- Consolidates work into a single location for all users of the system.
- Visibility for all users in the project to see status of where that work is add and gives management visibility through reporting.
- The resource management tools are not simple to use currently but upgrades are coming in 2017 from what I hear.
- There are some peak periods where the system runs slower than we like. Makes it difficult to build things at certain periods of time.
- I wish there was a more integration between the various reporting objects so it was easier to build complex reports from the different reportable objects in the system. It's okay for now but fixing that would really be fantastic.
- Consolidated work so everyone is on the same page.
- Shines a spotlight on the areas where you have people problems in your organization. Which helps you fix those.
- Really wish the general speed/performance issues (slow loading at certain times) would be more of a focus for the company.
We did the selection process a while ago but Workfront was the front runner from some 20-30 different products we were looking at for work management solutions. The reason we ended up going with them was their customer service and training packages. Training is key with implementing a new system and getting everyone to take full advantage of all the tools.
