Likelihood to Recommend I would say if you have a staff that's already experienced in the 24SevenOffice program that would be best. People who are brand new to it will have too much time ramping up and training. Also, you'd better have a rock-solid network infrastructure if you want success with this program. A business with less tech-savvy workers just wouldn't work.
Read full review Jobboss2 helps with creating routings, tracking hours towards those, and tracking inventory for discrete orders. It does not work well for blanket orders, consignment, or long-term agreements-type contracts with customers. Raw material tracking is completely ineffective with Jobboss2. Costing is quite ineffective with Joboss2. Production/lot planning & scheduling is ineffective and is a huge limiting factor. All of these items require manual tracking in spreadsheets. Jobboss2 has helped us get away from tracking routings with pen and paper and timesheets with pen and paper... but we're still having to use Excel to track consignment, blanket orders, job planning/when to launch new travelers, and costing/quoting. Going from pen and paper routings to digital has been a huge help overall, but the other limitations are incredibly concerning, which has led us to research & possibly switch

Time tracking is amazing for us. It has taken some time to figure out exactly how we want to use the tracking parts, but it's only because it has multiple ways to do the same thing and finding out what works best for us took some time. We have to train new employees with a lot of detailed instructions which shouldn't be necessary. We have had to pay for any support on the above issues. Support for the product has been improving and that is important for long term success. The cloud application is continually being developed and updated. New abilities are being added to assist with the customers that have strict requirements things like governance items
Read full review Usability It is extremely easy to learn and use E2 Shop System. It provides everything a manufacturing company might be looking for, starting from entering a new PO to shipping parts. Routers that get created from E2 Shop System also help track parts on the shop floor and is accessible from every where. E2 Shop System also now has an app, which is great when it comes to scanning router steps directly from your phone.

Read full review Support Rating The initial training leaves a little to be desired because it's done by people who know the generalities of the system. However, once you get into one-on-one trainings and tech support calls, they do a tremendous job in these aspects. They go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need.

Read full review Alternatives Considered 24SevenOffice has its own pros and cons just like any other software. It is a great software for an organization to do project management or financial management. It stacks up very competitively against others and is probably in the top 3. the UI that is offered by this software surpasses all the others that I have used and/or mentioned above. It is a breeze to understand most parts of the software by yourself. I think in terms of support there could be some improvement that can be possible and will result in much better feedback from its clients. Overall I give it a great rating in terms of usability and capability to handle the majority of business management, project management, and financial management features.
Read full review JobBoss was chosen over the competitors for the ease of use, the support that is available, and the price point. The flow of JobBoss's sofftware is easily followed. The support that is available when needed- we took full advantage of the one-on-one consulting time that was available. The Software is very economical for the value that is provides.

Read full review Return on Investment We were using a fairly similar program from an ROI perspective previously so I can't say it's had a big effect. That said the network issues represent lost hours/money. The added training is also expensive. Read full review We have seen improved visibility of our jobs and on how we quote our products to our customers. It is nice to be able to see what is running on each station, who is running it and what part of the process the job is currently at.
