airSlate

airSlate is well suited for any scenario where content from a form needs to added to Salesforce or similar. It's also well suited for any form that requires a signature and/or initials. airSlate is less appropriate if a form need to be filled out from a local drive. Although there are workarounds, airSlate is a web-based platform and is designed to be used in that way.

FileHold Document Management software

FileHold is great for any size department or organization that is looking to "go paperless." It is a great tool for groups that need to have workflow management and tracking, especially with forms. It is well-suited for groups that are already familiar with Microsoft Office, and not so much for users of other Office Suites.

  • Keep track of approval process once a document is submitted for approval
  • Allowed me to run reports on the amount of documents approved the first time through, second time through etc.
  • Allowed tracking of documents.

  • The mobile signing process needs improvement for more involved agreements with multiple signature locations
  • Dumbing down the html rules for those who would like to include rich text
  • Looking forward to improved page load times both while editing and creating and during actual use by team members and prospects

  • We could not find a graphical representation of the Workflow designer with drag-and-drop fields.
  • We also could not find any easy, efficient way to import or convert from other storage platforms.
  • The only other comment that my team had was that the color scheme could be tweaked to be more pleasing.

It seems airSlate designers spent a significant amount of time ensuring the product is easy to use and appealing. They were able to accomplish this without sacrificing functionality and quality. The interface isn't cluttered and allows end-user to get going with minimal training. Designing workflows is a snap with the drag and drop "bots" (functions).

FileHold is the ideal solution if you are looking for an electronic library with workflow functionality. The ease of use and integration with other tools we already use was also a huge incentive. It also allows us to import and export data. The search features and the ability to accept electronic signatures further made our lives easier.

FileHold was easy to implement as well as to configure to meet our organization's business requirements. We all found the search capabilities to be wonderful, reducing the time it takes to find a particular document. FileHold is easy even for the most novice of users to become productive in a very short amount of time.

Alternatives Considered

airSlate

Tallyfy is a wonderfully robust solution but airSlate further connected the dots for us with the full integration to the electronic signature aspect of our needs. I'm not sure where Tallyfy stands currently on that front.

FileHold Document Management software

I find FileHold more useful than SAP at times. It is easier to use, you do not need transaction codes. Both programs allow you to run reports. I am not sure if SAP could be compared with FileHold due to the fact that I use SAP to get approval and funding on tooling contracts. However, in FileHold, all you get is an approval from your supervisors. If all the departments would use FileHold, it would be more efficient and effective.
