AnyDesk is free for personal use and offers a limited set of features and support. Professional users need a license. Only the initiator of a session needs a license, participants are free.
AnyDesk's advantage lies in its compatibility with older operating systems. Some other remote control systems only work with the latest versions, and older systems are incompatible. Being multi-platform, it eliminates the need for a separate remote for each environment. It …
TeamViewer is very expensive, but offers similar functionality. Splashtop is free to use when used with Atera RMM/PSA - very easy to use in this environment as there is no login requirements on Atera Clients and the users endpoint can be managed without the user having to worry …
As the AnyDesk address is constant, we do not have to share the ID multiple times with the same person.
Always shows a list of recent sessions so it will be easier to connect with people we frequently contact.
Innovative, reliable, and secure.

AnyDesk, TeamViewer and LogMeIn. They all have their advantages/disadvantages. AnyDesk and TeamViewer are low impact and reliable, but requires significant user participation. LogMeIn is excellent, but expensive. Atera provides advanced features and reliable access for …
We looked at NinjaOne and ConnectWise Automate which are both fantastic tools. Those options definitely have their strengths over Atera, but Atera was the one we chose in the end. The thing that drew us to Atera was the lack of complicated contracts and simple tech based …
After evaluating several remote support solutions, I chose Zoho Assist primarily because it offers the same—if not better—features as its competitors, but at a significantly more affordable price point. The platform includes robust remote access, file transfer, and unattended …
Quick connection with pre-set clients, where you can connect with or without a password, and even turn on your computer if you have it configured that way. When connecting to multiple devices, managing several windows can be confusing when, in my opinion, it could be better managed by tabs with the connections listed sequentially for visual identification.
Atera is doing well in the monitoring part as it is informing the real time ping of running devices and if any device goes down, it is informing us on the real time. It is helping us to monitor the last reboot status, current logged in users, time zone, IP addresses and other things so that we can track our end devices status. In the patching part Atera is pathing our all devices with the notification stating user to restart device at their convenient time. It is also patching our third party applications. It is good in installing and uninstalling of the third party application but limited to availability in the Atera inventory. Atera is not good in some parts such as in the patching part of applications, sometime it fails to update all 3rd party applications that were not installed via Atera. It is not good if you have to transfer a file to multiple systems at the same time.
If you have many remote users in challenging-to-access locations and they use multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux), Zoho Assist is the solution. If you have a limited budget, you'll like Zoho Assist pricing. If you have a large team of IT technicians, you'll appreciate Zoho Assist's concurrent usage licensing.
Atera is very helpful in monitoring the servers and end-user devices for high CPU, memory, hard disk uses, and temperature monitoring.
Atera is good at installing third-party applications and also helps to remove it from the end systems.
Atera is perfect for patching as you can select the patches as per your need and reject those that are not required for you or going to disturb any of your internal applications.
Atera is good for managing software inventory as it provides you with the complete software list that is used in your infrastructure.
One user's computer screen is black, no task bar and start button, after system crush, Unattended Access help me remote control it and use tools under quick Launch to change system settings and created new account for the user, so she can work few hours later.
One user computer need help vpn setup but it is not on Unattended Access list, so I create a temporarily Remote Support session, send the link to him by WhatsApp, after he download and install agent, I can connect and remote control it.
Sometimes user computer has randomly happening issue, I will connect it by Zoho Assist, record the remote screen, then will catch the issue and know it's triggered
sometimes I use video chat as a meeting tool with users
The file transfer by web client is useful for me, most of time is to upload files into user computer when it is not able to access our network drive
we should be able to connect from windows to iphone or ipad, it is now possible to connect to ipad or iphone. AnyDesk can work on this.
the field where we enter remote address should be more visible. New user cannot find where to enter the remote address that takes some time to connect. AnyDesk should change the placement of it.
If we can change the colour theme of the UI that will be an addon thing. when you daily use AnyDesk you get bored of the same UI.
Just like a Xmax UI. Any desk should constantly change somethings which makes the UI visually appealing.
Atera does not yet have a MDM system, but I have been told that it is in the works!
Sometimes getting around the admin section of the IT side of Atera can be tricky, but the webinars and chat support help.
Many of the demo and onboarding agents are based in Israel, so it can be a challenge to find available times during the day while living in the United States.
This is the best remote access tool to any pc/laptop/desktop. We can make sure that we are 24/7 monitored, connected and if any technical problem arises, there can be a solution remotely with the help of AnyDesk. As AnyDesk has a remote access tool, it is easy to show clients how to do simple technical tasks on their remote pc/laptop just by loggin in from abroad
As of right now, we have found nothing that can offer as many features as Atera does along with the affordability. They are doing monthly releases each month and not just making small changes (shared scripting library, chocolatey support, Install packages, Splashtop SOS support, Scheduled tickets to name a few). The uptimes are great and accessibility to the dashboard has yet to be limited. We are a happy customer and bordering on fanboy status now
I would like to rate it 9 out of 10 stars because the software has significantly simplified the interaction process for us. Additionally, knowledge sharing and team support can be accomplished in just a few seconds through video conferencing and screen sharing. The physical movement of manpower has been minimised after installing this software in our business.
Atera's remote monitoring feature is one of it's best features. The laptops and servers we used it on responded quickly to our administrative task requests and made our work light. We were able to increase the resources, manage patches, windows updates and quite a few other tasks remotely and that too 24×7.
Zoho Assist has proven to be a highly effective and reliable tool that I use on a daily basis. While the "wake up" feature occasionally fails to respond, this seems more likely due to network connectivity issues rather than a flaw in Zoho Assist itself. On rare occasions, the unattended access installation doesn't appear on the administrator's dashboard, which could potentially be caused by firewall restrictions rather than a problem with the software. Aside from these minor and infrequent issues, the platform has consistently performed well and has become an essential part of my workflow.
I didn't have any technical problems and I didn't suffer from bugs or errors. Customer service has improved a lot and I no longer need to leave the office to go to the user's computer. With AnyDesk I install and remove programs, printers, scanners, settings in general. Screen sharing is excellent and without delays. Overall, I recommend and approve AnyDesk.
Atera support provides answers to my questions lightning fast. They have never left me feeling like I'm out there on my own. I can ask questions by email, or by chat, or by opening a ticket with them and they are always on it quickly. They also have a forum where other Atera users can help you if you need it, and you can also add feature requests via the forum.
Support is terrible. Quick to initially respond with the boilerplate "The information provided by you should be sufficient for my development team to analyse this further. I shall also write back to you as soon as I get an update from them on this regard." And then you will hear nothing more from them. Chase further and you'll get stock responses such as "Our development team are still looking into this," etc.
Getscreen.me connects remotely directly from your browser, it's very convenient - no need to explain to customers what and how to install. Also, it has a very user-friendly interface. They also have all the necessary features for remote access (file sharing, WoL, black screen, session recording) and are significantly cheaper.
Because Atera is a much more effective and efficient solution to manage all our IT operations, it automates each of our business processes. It offers us the best support to respond to any problem that may arise. I think Atera is much more cost-effective and reliable; its value is justified with each function and satisfies all our business needs and requirements.
The value for Zoho Assist and the functionality is superior to what is now known as LogMeIn Resolve. I knew it before as Goto Assist. My decision to try out and ultimately purchase Zoho Assist has been a great one for my business. I am glad I heard about Zoho Assist and will continue using them for years to come.
It helps us reduce in-person visits, saving time and money.
Being able to serve more than one client at a time is very profitable because, whereas before it was one agent per client in person, now that everything is online, productivity is multiplied
The intuitive user interface has enabled both users and support technicians to familiarize themselves quickly with the functionality, and the learning curve is less.
Some features need to be accessed through documentation; they're not available directly on the dashboard.
Sometimes, internet access plays a significant role, whereas low connectivity is a hindrance.
