BMC FootPrints Service Core

You need to have a team/department that is willing to work through the software and train the personnel to always work through this system. Otherwise it is too large and complex and your support staff will never feel comfortable working with it unless it is their primary tool.

The only time that I am unable to get resolution is for issues that are unsupported, like when we are looking for email headers or HTML support in incoming mail

Alternatives Considered

I was not involved in the selection process but in my opinion either SQL or Access databases would have worked just as well without the same amount of cost. These two systems would have been much easier to manage and would have tracked the same information in a less convoluted process and expense.
