Botify vs. DeepCrawl

Botify is great for large websites because the crawler can handle millions of pages and a ton of data. If your site only has a couple thousand or hundred thousand pages, there are probably cheaper tools that can be used to crawl your site and you may not need as much in-depth reporting.

It is useful for our clients to help identify where there are any issues and what improvements should be made. We are able to use all the counts of each elements to work out which to prioritise and create an action plan for our clients. If a team isn't able to implement any of the insights from within this tool, then it probably wouldn't be worth the money

• Combines keywords, log files, and site crawls into one report
• Gives you a holistic view of your site health

• The primary Dashboard is pretty excellent—not too much stuff to look at, just the main issues and a hierarchical breakdown of the site structure
• I love the Broken Links tab—this is a super simple way to find what's broken so you can fix site circulation issues
• The indexation tab is really nice too—no need to surf through thousands of URLs in a spreadsheet to assess the index

• I would only say that there is a pay per use issue, it is quite expensive. But if I am honest, it is worth every penny.

I liked the platform overall. It is a good crawler. I no longer use because it's duplicate of what I get with seoClarity. I did not give it 10/10 because sometimes I had a hard time isolating site areas that I wanted and didn't get much technical support from Conductor on how to use the tool

Screaming Frog can't handle a crawl of our entire site because it is too large and would crash your computer. DeepCrawl's reports weren't as in-depth and didn't have as much functionality as Botify

DeepCrawl is a great tool when compared to other similar solutions. What sets it apart from the competition in my experience with it, is the convenience of the cloud. In addition to having a multitude of tools faced by a digital marketer in today's landscape from analysis of site backlinks to competition analysis.
