Clicktools is a cloud-based survey software. It enables business users to collect information through surveys, call scripts, and web forms; automatically centralize the data in CRM; and act on those insights to increase loyalty. The program is offered by Callidus Cloud, which in turn was acquired by SAP in 2017 when the companies formed a strategic partnership.

Cheaper solution with more Salesforce integration capabilities. SurveyMonkey wasn't quite as advanced as Clicktools was at the time we made the switch. Now we can fully customize Salesforce and pull specific data elements from a survey and populate them into any Salesforce …

SurveyMonkey doesn't have the mapping ability of Clicktools, it's limited in what objects you can map to. GetFeedback looks great but it has limitations around language and deployment methods.
We used to use a paid version of SurveyMonkey - the two products really don't compare. We had difficulty with logic and syncing the answers within our CRM system. We no longer have this problem.
The Salesforce automation is the key for me on why I converted from SurveyMonkey to Clicktools! I see that SurveyMonkey now offers this as well! Two years ago, it did not.
We have used SurveyMonkey and SurveyGizmo, before switching to Clicktools. I would say all the systems were quite comparable in their survey collection, basic data visualization capabilities (at least 3 years ago). The reason we switched to Clicktools was to integrate survey …
SurveyMonkey and Wufoo are quite simple in their approach. They do allow a quick way to create forms, but Clicktools integration into Salesforce is what sets them apart. There's no third party tools and plugins to make this happen like the other vendors. A direct connection …
Generally, I prefer simpler tools like SurveyMonkey and even Google Forms because those are the type of surveys I typically need. ClickTools gets the job done, and as you become more familiar with the tool, you can rip out surveys much quicker. Steep learning curve with more …
Secure, integrated with Salesforce and allows for better graphics that can be presented to customers. It produces a valuable tool for our sales team by collecting data and turning it into something that is comprehensive and easy to navigate and fun to look at, vs numbers and …
Clicktools' deep integration with SFDC and the existing template for building and executing an end-to-end NPS program was the deciding factor when evaluating survey products. The NPS project initiated our product search, and Clicktools offered considerable experience and …
Price was the main factor. When we were talking to survey companies, a lot of them were really big about the robust features they could offer. We did not need robust features - we just needed to send surveys and integrate them with SFDC. It was hard to find a company that …
The SF integration. We were also switching from Zoomerang amid a contract so we got a really good price for a couple years (which was largely a part of it).

SurveyMonkey is the least used between Wufoo, Titan Forms, and Google Forms. It is a solid program, however, for our uses the other programs provide additional features such as syncing to our CRM database, accepting Stripe payments, or automatically syncing with my already …
SurveyMonkey was not nearly as flexible from a design perspective, and it would not allow us to integrate within our current site. Wufoo was the only product that was cost effective, customizable, and easy to use. As we got more involved in the tool, we were continually …
I think out of these apps, Wufoo and SurveyMonkey maybe are the ones with more robust and complex features. But neither has a design so beautiful as Typeform, nor the simplicity of creating and answering surveys in Google Forms. Usually I use:
Wufoo lacks the intricate features that SurveyMonkey has in terms of customization, survey login, reporting, and analysis. However, it provides an excellent, easy-to-use way to create forms and surveys/polls for customers that require little effort for such tasks. In many …
Wufoo is more robust than Survey Monkey and has more question/answer options. Wufoo also has more customization options for a cleaner, more professional experience for the user when compared to Survey Monkey and Google Forms.
It was the most affordable, easiest to use and best product that we researched and evaluated. We liked the interface of it, how you could make multiple accounts, the different theme options you could choose from and how easy it was to share your form. We needed something we …
Wufoo has an unparalleled ease of use. It's a simple to follow layout and support staff are accessible within an hour window almost without fail. The forms are more dynamic and easy to set up than either Google Forms or Salsa Labs based registration, but unlike Salsa Labs, the …
Wufoo sends all the customer responses to my email and I don't continually need to log in to see if any new information came in. With Surveymonkey I have to sign in to get a link or send out an email with the survey link, and with Wufoo I add a link once to a website and anyone …

Chose Wufoo
When I researched Wufoo in 2008, it was easier on the eyes for the survey creator and respondent than SurveyMonkey. Wufoo also allows questions to have hyperlinks and images. Google Forms does not.
For any organization that is using salesforce.com and needs to implement a survey system that directly ties back to their salesforce.com system I would highly recommend Clicktools. We tried building our own customer satisfaction survey and it was not worth the effort, especially as our questions are ever changing. The integration with the case module was easy to configure
SurveyMonkey is well suited for external, professional, client-facing forms and complex question types. I've tried generating forms on HubSpot, and it's not nearly as intuitive or clean-looking, and not all question types are supported (e.g. Likert scales). For quick, internal forms that don't need to be as pretty or professional, I find that Google Forms is the quickest and easiest to pull together, especially since it has a single, universal respondent link. If I wanted to embed a link in a mass email, SurveyMonkey doesn't allow multiple respondents to use the same link on my plan.
Wufoo is well suited when someone needs to gather data from visitors. It's not so well suited when you need to have people send files over 25MB in size. That's the limit and it's pretty low. We use it for resumes and MS Word files, so the size is okay for us, but might not be the case for other needs.
Integration with Salesforce: it is critical to us as we use Salesforce, and a lot of record management is automated thanks to great Clicktools integration with Salesforce.
Responsiveness of technical support: a lot of program staff across our organization use Clicktools every day, so having a quick response time to troubleshoot arising issues is important.
User-friendly interface: Clicktools improved their interface to make it more user-friendly which improves efficiency.
Being able to close the survey at a set time without having to remember to do so.
Takes the guess work out of response collecting.
Makes it easy to categorize responses within the same survey. Being able to add tags to open-ended questions makes it easy for us to identify patterns in responses.
An array of survey options and questions.
An all around great product that meets multiple needs.
Can have multiple collectors for the same survey to included manual input.
Flexible, multiple entry forms: Wufoo allows users to create forms with multiple options or formats (radio, single choice, checkbox, text, paragraph text)
Conditional forms: Need to ask a question that only applies to a specific group? Then Wufoo is for you - it allows you to create conditional logic that allows you to reserve specific paths for specific entrants.
Integrations: Wufoo integrates with EVERYTHING via Zapier. You can sync it to Google sheets, email ESPs / CRMs, payment gateways... All kinds of applications for this software with its flexible uses & integrations, including embeddable HTML or direct integration to your website.
Speed - the quality of graphics is high and a lot of info is being pulled, it can take quite a bit of time to produce results.
I am unable to open multiple tabs to run several functions within Clicktools simultaneously.
Easier/more intuitive graphics uploading.
Run reports based on a certain factor (i.e. if there is a particular product we continuously run reports on, I would like to see a chart comparison of how that products scores have varied over time).
I would like to have more customizable options for branding it to our hospital colors. Some survey options allow you to enter html color codes. SurveyMonkey allows you to change colors and you have to pick from selected options.
Embedding the surveys into a webpage, like WordPress is not as seamless as other services.
We have loved using Clicktools and will continue to use it for the foreseeable future. The price and Salesforce integration is what really sets it apart from any other solution out there. I have learned a great deal about surveys and how to manage them in a CRM by using Clicktools. We will certainly be renewing our contract.
Compared to other competitors in the market (including a few I've used internally), if you're looking for a survey application, this one does the job and it's quite inexpensive too. Considering the fact that it comes with a handy mobile application too (on iOS and Android), you also get flexibility thrown in the deal too.
I only give it this mid-range rating because, since the 2014 Super Bowl is history, our company will be closing in a couple months. I hope in my next employment opportunity that I will be able to use Wufoo again. I will probably use it to a limited extent in my personal life to communicate with friends and contacts in a unique manner. I am also working on a Certificate in Web Development and I definitely use Wufoo as embedded forms in websites I build.
ClickTools is very easy to use and get started doing the basics. Anyone will be able to easily log in an create a survey from day 1. Skip logic can be a little tricky and is less user friendly, so testing is very important. I would say that, overall, usability is good.
It does everything a survey software should do, and it does it very well. I can't speak for how well it would work for a business that was surveying tens of thousands of people - but for a small business of 50 employees with a couple of thousand clients, it does everything it needs to do.
Wufoo's usability from the user to the client is simple. The forms are simple to construct and they are easy for our clients to fill out. I have yet to really hit something that is difficult to do and even when I do get a little stumped their excellent support team helps me through it.
ClickTools is always available when I need it. The interface is quick and does not drag. Survey responses show up quickly after a survey is submitted. The survey analyzer is swift as well. There is no waiting around for something to process when you are using ClickTools.
Every time I try to use a different Form Builder - I constantly go back to Wufoo, especially compared to WordPress Plugin Form Builders. The biggest reason is the reliability of the form notifications getting sent and delivered are better than form builder that rely on the Wordpress Mail Send Feature. The only feature that I have found over the last 3 years that Wufoo is missing is the ability to customize the layout of the notification emails. But that is minor in the grand scope of its reliability.
I get frustrated by not being able to find the answers to my questions online by myself. I would rather search FAQs and find things that way, but it seems I always have to contact support to get the answer I need. They need a more robust support center so you can do it yourself. But on the upside, when I do contact support, they respond immediately and usually solve my problem quickly
I've never had to contact the SurveyMonkey customer care team directly, but they have a pretty good library of help articles on their website. Everything from designing and executing your survey to account and billing questions. I never had a need for further support from Survey Monkey.
I will be completely honest - I have never needed to contact any specific support for Wufoo. This is because we've never had any problems with Wufoo that I'm aware of! It has proved to be a reliable and easy to use product, and therefore, we have not needed to reach out for any kind of support or assistance. I suppose this would speak to the exceptional quality of the product!
If you are setting up integration with a CRM (Salesforce) get this done early on in the process. You can always do it later, but it's easiest to lay your foundation first and then build up and around it later
Implementing Wufoo was a seamless process. It was an instantaneous transition from the old pdf forms and webforms we were using to the easier to understand Wufoo forms. Employees learned it with ease and the clients response was instantaneously positive. Adding Wufoo to your workflow is not only easy it is necessary.
There was no need to create survey landing pages from Salesforce for external polls, we could decide where survey results were captured in Salesforce (if at all - can report straight from CT), and with simple html skills we could brand everything
SurveyMonkey is easier to customize and provides much more in depth analytics. SurveyMonkey also provides better templates providing us with a better presentation to our employees. SurveyMonkey also comes with a more trustworthy platform that ensures confidentiality, which is incredibly important to our employees and means we're getting more reliable results from the surveys.
In terms of building reports, Wufoo is very similar to Google Forms. Both have the capability to edit live forms and immediately share them. Wufoo offers a few more features than Google Forms does as well. Overall, our department has looked at both options and continues to use Wufoo because of the data management and ease of building forms.
Clicktools plays a crucial role in our Net Promoter Score (NPS) survey. Twice a year we deploy the survey, and because of the flexibility of ClickTools and its integration with SFDC, we've seen a 40% response rate in a survey that formally only received 6-7%.
The speed at which we can develop, program, execute and generate actual usable results provides significant value, particularly when we need fresh numbers to illustrate a point.
The fact that we can execute a research project so quickly means that new research is always a primary option when we're developing campaigns. That's a huge value proposition.
Wufoo has had a positive impact on our marketing department by allowing us to create and deploy forms on our websites and landing pages with significantly increased efficiency and speed.
Wufoo has also had a huge impact in reducing our reliance on IT support to build and deploy forms to our websites.
Wufoo has also empowered our marketing team to be able to try and solve our business problems through tons of integrations between Wufoo and other 3rd party systems (such as Salesforce and Zapier).
