Facebook for Business

Great if your audience is on Facebook and you are trying to sell B2C. I'm not sure how that works on B2B.I also think it's a great channel for more visual products and experiences, but you need to know that it not only needs an analyst for managing, you also need a designer and creative person for making all the ads. The fact that ads fatigue over time makes management more expensive than other channels (AdWords) but it has great potential for scalability.Nevertheless, I think almost everyone can benefit from using it. You just need to know that it takes some time to master the learning phase (what segments, what types of ads, what messages, pictures, etc. work best).

LinkedIn Lead Accelerator (Discontinued)

In my opinion, LinkedIn Lead Accelerator is very well suited for B2B companies that want to target their B2B clients. If the company is B2C oriented, it would be pretty expensive for them to find and acquire sufficient amount of clients, it is better to use other platforms, such as Facebook or Twitter.

Facebook for Business

  • While Facebook for Business provides lots of data and information, we have seen anomalies that make us question the validity of this performance information.
  • We are presented with controls to determine where our ads are placed, but sometimes they are changed without our knowledge. For instance, when Facebook Messenger became a place to advertise, we were advertising there without our knowledge before we were provided the option to turn it off.
  • Facebook has a tendency to make changes and inform it's users after the fact, instead of explaining upcoming feature or layout changes.
  • Sometimes the interface can be confusing when determining if a change has been published or not, resulting in times where changes were thought to have been made, but instead, it just sat in draft status.
  • Very often, we find our ads disproved due to reasons that do not apply to our ads. When we request a further review, they are then approved. But, until we request the review, our ads are not running, and there is no telling when these disapprovals will occur.

  • As an integration partner the only challenge we faced was coordinating our strategic services teams to provide a single recommendation/plan to mutual clients. This was easily addressed through a communication plan agreed to by both parties.

Because Facebook for Business is free. There is no renewal. Maybe I should have put a ZERO because you can't really renew your Facebook for Business account. I put 10 because it is a no-brainer to use. I would recommend it to other people. Actually I do recommend it to other people

I gave it this rating because it is so easy to learn to use and you are able to grow a following quickly by knowing when to post and who to post to or how to get in front of those prospects easily, and using those prospects to reach even further without any additional processes on your end through the sharing from your engaged readers.

I've found the Facebook for Business support to be hit or miss. For billing questions they're timely and helpful. For complex questions about specific services I've often received a longer wait and a less helpful experience. I'm often redirected to their docs, which are often not particularly helpful.

Take all of the training offered through Facebook first before attempting to create a page on the platform. Learn all of the capabilities available to you. Learn about the different types of audiences who might be interested in seeing your page. Create short video clips as though they are viewed at a much higher rate than anything else. Offer free giveaways or raffles to further build to your list of prospects and drive traffic to your website

Facebook for Business

Because I am more familiar with Facebook and Instagram, I have to say they are much better than using things like Twitter Ads & Google Ads. I produce niche products, so Google Ads doesn't bring me to the top of SEO with all my competition. Further, I don't really like Twitter so I don't find it to be conducive to create ads and find there is no ROI.

  • Facebook for Business has helped us manage teams and communication better and in turn helped our business establish itself on social media. This in turn has helped us increase our sales-per-customer ratio.
  • It has also helped us protect our key profiles and brand image on Facebook as we can easily assign and remove users from specific pages and accounts as needed.

  • It saves a lot of time when you can do such a detailed targeting
