Gong is well-suite to hiding in the background of your zoom calls to record all information. It simultaneously announces its presence and is never called out by clients as intrusive. This has saved our revenue team hours of taking notes each week, and also polishing these notes after the calls. Especially when you have calls back-to-back and aren't able to polish your notes immediately, it's easy to forget the context of your notes. Gong allows us to have the full reference to maintain all call points accurately.

  • Recommendations to improve (silence time, speaking ratio, etc.)
  • Source of absolute truth! So easy to see what meetings have been done, and how it was done. No more he says she says
  • Transcription - it has been accurate, and helps when trying to learn how to handle rejections

  • Would like to have Gong use AI to alert me when a customer is at risk for attrition
  • Would like to make it easier to search on Accounts. When I type into the search field, sometimes multiple accounts appear, and when I click on one, there's an error.

Whoever designed Gong knew what this tool needed to be and needs to provide their clients with. I haven't been in a full-time sales team in a while, and for me it was love at first sight, since I really enjoy training sessions, especially when the team is not afraid of making mistakes or being corrected by other team members. The synergy this tool fosters is something I would always use in these areas of work: Sales, Product, Customer Success, Customer Support

I think Gong's really helpful feature was being able to share a link to customer recordings which felt more secure and more easily accessible. Sharing setting was very customizable and allowed Smartling to ensure we were following best practices for security and privacy - this is something i've heard large companies like Accenture have issue with in regards to Zoom

  • Greater collaboration across internal teams
  • Improved presentation and conversation skills, based on manager feedback and individual assessment
  • Improved patience (must fewer instances of interrupting customers thanks to Gong)
  • Customers are more confident in their decisions (when they can rewatch demos)
  • Better alignment with customers, since we can be truly present on the call then listen to the recording later instead of taking notes in real-time
