Likelihood to Recommend With around 80 users and 150 devices (including 6 server instances), this solution served us very well, with instant admin notifications and scheduled overall reports. Detection appears extremely reliable, and the memory and CPU footprint of the service seemed less intrusive than Panda, which we had issues running on Terminal Services instances, as it seems to hog excessive memory allocation. Rollout was smooth and we never had an instance of a corrupt installation.
Read full review I have experience with Watchguard Endpoint Security (EPDR) with small companies of five or more endpoints to large companies with hundreds of endpoints and find it well-suited for both types and everything in between. However, it is particularly good for companies with lean IT departments due to the awesomely automated and intelligent tools it provides for quick investigation and response. Also, its automated white list approval process for unknown executables is extremely fast thereby reducing and sometimes even eliminating delays that could impair employee performance.
Read full review Pros Hybrid deployment, can be on-prem or cloud specific, we are using cloud based Central Control Manager capabilities to have control about what happens in the environment No need to have internal infrastructure to host further than your workstations or terminals No need to have dedicated team for security or endpoint protection Maintenance and updates are available just as released, no need to take actions on that side Great capabilities as a connected threat defense platform Endpoint protection features and quality for SMBs Cloud and collaboration platforms compatible including Office 365, Google Mail and On-Cloud Storage Read full review Centralized management makes monitoring simple. Deployment is quick, easy, and automatable. Zero Trust means exactly that - if a process is not KNOWN to be safe, it is blocked until evaluated. IT managers can block or grant authority to override the automatic protection in case of the immediate need to allow a process known to be safe. Read full review Cons Price increases regularly. When you actually want to uninstall the agent, sometimes it will refuse to do so. Luckily TM has a special uninstall tool if needed. Can take awhile to dial in the thresholds against false positives. Read full review As with any application of this nature, it can block processes or other suspected security risks that are actually safe. While easy to use, it sometimes provides less learning opportunities for less experienced staff who are not as well-versed in these applications. Read full review Likelihood to Renew The ease of use, pricing, support, reliability, and quality of the product. Panda / WatchGuard products are highly rated, priced right and easy to maintain. All of this make it very easy to renew and purchase new licenses for us and our clients.
Read full review Usability Installation and administration tools are fantastic. I found the endpoint policies to be not intuitive and clunky. The endpoint client was difficult to disable when trying to troubleshoot Apple issues and I often had to uninstall and then reinstall which was very time-consuming. Reporting is very useful and I was impressed with the reports I received.
Read full review Easy and intuitive MSP management portal to manage all of your clients from a single pane of glass. Policies can be pushed down globally or individually based on needs. The client portal allows access to their tenant information and installs only which is nice if you are working with clients who might have an internal person or an IT team that also wants access to things to manage themself.
Read full review Reliability and Availability The software is 100% managed on a cloud platform that can be managed via an account even if they are not present within the company network where the software is installed, I even always opened the control panel on the browser of my smartphone to monitor the situation.I have never experienced any abnormal software crashes
Read full review Performance The only annoyance I complain, if we want to be picky, is the fact of the constant disconnections from the control panel.Every about 4 hours the account logs out even if I set the "remember this device" flag; having said that I have not noticed neither slowdowns nor conflicts with other software
Read full review Support Rating The few times I needed to contact support I was fully satisfied. They worked all the way through the issue, no matter how long it took, and made sure I had a permanent solution. I was pleased with the professionalism, courteousness, and knowledge of the product they were supporting.
Read full review I gave it a 10 because I compare it to air conditioning. I need it to work every day, 24/7. I need it to be reliable and not something that requires a ton of interaction from staff to make sure it works every day. In addition, I should be able to run other things at my house when the AC is on. Panda fits that description.

Read full review Implementation Rating The software goes manually on a PC only on the company network and then proceeds through that PC to install the software on all the other clients through the control panel where all the clients / servers on the network are detected with extreme speed and ease of execution, even for uninstallation and remote control over scans
Read full review Alternatives Considered Avast was clunky, difficult to roll out, missed loads of malware on machines, and required that we purchase a separate license to install AV on our servers. Trend Micro could not have been any different. You just contact their sales department and get a demo, or even ask for a trial of sorts to test policy creations and client installation. You'll be obsessed with the whole process and the admin dashboard you have access to.
Read full review Very similar. I feel like Watchguard need to get a better foothold with people trusting the name in the endpoint space. It has pretty much everything S 1 does but it also provides so much more. Simple things like patch management and encryption are fantastic adding that deliver true security value
Read full review Scalability With the implementation of watchguard (at the beginning Panda Endpoint, but it is the same) I was able to insert in the control panel all the unauthorized software previously installed by colleagues without any authorization from the various department heads. Now any licensed software goes into lockdown and can be unlocked from the control panel
Read full review Return on Investment It has stopped several malicious items from getting into our system. It's also saved money over our previous Anti-Virus solution (Kaspersky) Ease of Setup/Use Read full review [...] The ability to make website URL and category viewing restrictions resulted in higher productive personnel and reduced the risks of infection. For the IT department, the centralised management console with all the information and tasks prepared to deploy to the endpoints helps us work more efficiently and faster. The ROI has been really good along [the] years, with a safer environment our employees work better and without stress, that translates in productivity.
