Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training
We used KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training for our staff onboarding training (for foundational cyber security training), as well as synthetic phishing exercises. It allowed us to get a feeling for how well the training for being received and understood. Our IT team also had access to additional training videos for skill enhancement and uplift.
- Interesting content
- Great reporting
- Easy to administer
- Customization
- Corporate branding
- More granular licensing tiering
- Cyber Security Awareness
- Reporting on 'click throughs'
- Created cyber discussion points within the organisation
We didn't compare it to any specific product, as it was recommended by a sister company. We compared it to the effort o of standing up our own training, creating it, filming etc. In the end we thought that KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training gave a more polished, comprehensive product with better reporting than our internal LMS

Better overall cyber security awareness across the organisation, it also created a discussion point for staff. The synthetic phishing provided a great overall view of the organisations understanding of the training and allowed us to target specific groups for extended training. Additionally it was great to be able to report back to the whole company about the percentage of click throughs.
We used the Azure Active Directory Sync - which allowed us to manage everything through AD. It was easy to set up, KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training provided comprehensive instructions on how to configure the connector. It would have been nicer to manage using groups, however we could manage individual users - albeit with a little more effort
The most important statistics for our organisation were the percentage of training completion as well as the number of users that had clicked on a synthetic phishing email. Both were reported up to the board for visibility. There was additional reporting capability, however we found it best to keep it simple
