Overall Satisfaction with MIP Fund Accounting (formerly Abila MIP)

MIP is utilized as our management tool for the large non-profit foundation.
  • MIP allows the foundation to easily print year-end donor statements.
  • MIP allows for the users of the software to quickly input transactions.
  • In my opinion, MIP is not exclusively designed for the non-profit educational foundation world. It lacks the ability to track relationships and send automated communications.
Our foundation is able to manage multiple funds from multiple sources. We do utilize outside resources to assist with the tracking and management of the funds to ensure simplicity with the end user.
Jenzabar Internet Campus Solution (JICS)
Given the opportunity to advance the current product, I would recommend MIP Fund Accounting to a colleague. The product allows for a simple way to manage funds; however, it lacks the diversity to fully utilize the educational records retained by our institution.
