Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

We use Adobe Acrobat for all of our PDF and design collateral work. Adobe Acrobat makes it extremely helpful for our creative design and product marketing/local marketing teams to design new content and collateral, commenting with amends and managing files through review stages with multiple stakeholders in different timezones. Adobe Acrobat is very useful for version control and ensuring we can feed in multiple levels of feedback and save lengthy emails or slacks with back and forth descriptions of what needs amending. Much easier and faster to mark up in file.
  • Allows design file comment mark-up
  • Helps teams manage version control with online files
  • Allows for multiple stakeholders to feed in on assets
  • Helps do easy signature adding to contracts/review contracts quickly
  • Find the recent files hard to navigate
  • Prompt to save downloaded files in new folders
  • Design capabilities
  • Comment markup
  • Signatures
  • Scalability
  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
Ease of use and user friendly nature of Adobe Acrobat was most important in bringing the product into the teams to use. It's particularly good when working with a global team who has people in several markets who aren't native english speakers - our design team is spread across India, Mexico and the UK to allow for 24 work. Having Adobe Acrobat which allows for ease of use in design and mark-up means that feedback can be shared directly between multiple designers, marketers and teams who all communicate in various languages.
  • Increased operational efficiencies - less meetings needed
  • Reduced need for email
  • Increased productivity - 24 hour design work now possible
Adobe Acrobat's robust security and compliance standards have had the effect on our organisation that we are able to onboard them as a supplier. As we are a data company, we are only allowed to work with suppliers who have completely watertight approaches to security and compliance - without this, we would not be able to use the tool. The fact that our legal and privacy teams have approved Adobe Acrobat gives me full confidence in using their tools.
We did not really know about other PDF editor tools available in market - Adobe Acrobat is widely renowned as the market leader and, as such, we didn't really want to pursue or begin to evaluate any alternative options that our teams might use. As we use Marketo we are already Adobe customers and familiar with all their tools.

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

Adobe Acrobat is incredibly well suited to marketing teams where they have various stakeholders working across creative materials. Especially those where a lot of copy is included i.e. product marketing materials; user guides, battlecards, factsheets, whitepapers, reports. It allows for people to easily make comments and amends or suggestions to files, allowing for better communication with design teams. We have found it particularly helpful in communicating directly with teams that are non-english native language; being able to make edits and mark-ups in file is much more constructive vs communicating these over email, slack, teams or voicenote; you can save time and communicate within global teams despite office hour differences.
