Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
I use Adobe Acrobat primarily with my business to send and receive documents for signatures with my clients and vendors. We definitely use it for other purposes but the signature portion is what we intended when we budgeted for this.
- Easy to understand- the program has a very intuitive layout that is great for people who doesn't use the product very much
- Includes all features you might need. There are many features I didn't even think we would need that they have included.
- They have a very recognizable name so my clients feel they can trust what they are being asked to open/sign since the Adobe name is next to it.
- It's a heavy program. This means a lot of RAM is utilized when doing something even pretty small just by running the program
- The digital signature portion is a little tricky to understand. There is not a lot of documentation around securing and saving the multiple digital signatures you're able to create.
- Digital Signatures
- Ability to edit PDFs
- Ease of integration with other Adobe products via the Creative Suite
- Cloud Solutions
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use
The most important factor in choosing Adobe Acrobat for us was having a program to securely facilitate the transmission and receipt of documents while maintaining author and owner integrity. Adobe's name is trustworthy and since this product has been around for quite a while, many of the bugs and oversights have already been worked out. We feel like we are working with a refined solution rather than a just born type product.
- Using Adobe Acrobat for digital signatures has increased ROI by saving us time in searching for other solutions, and by eliminating the need for mailing documents (snail mail).
- Using Adobe Acrobat however does cost us a little bit of that time back when we need to factor in the cost or the program as well as the lag time experienced in waiting for the program to load and function.
The best part of using Adobe Acrobat is the trustworthiness of the brand. This, for us, means we can trust that the digital signatures we create, send and even accept are fully protected and compliant. We also know that our work is secure in the Creative Cloud environment where our PDS are normally stored.
DocuSign has it's perks, for sure. DocuSign is easier to integrate into websites with extensions than Adobe Acrobat is but when it came down to it, we just didn't trust the brand. We felt that using a product with the Adobe name connected with it provided necessary peace of mind for not only our business but also for our clients. People know Adobe.
