Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

We use Acrobat on a daily basis to convert files to PDF, combine files, and for e-signing. This allows us to OCR files and provide our clients with complete discovery packages. PDF is the standard within the legal services industry, and Acrobat provides all the tools we need, including redactions and Bates numbering.

  • OCR documents for search.
  • Redaction
  • E-signing
  • Bundling documents.
  • Search across Portfolios.
  • Redaction process could be simplified.

  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
It is easy to use because we process large document sets. It is easy to apply processes to a single document for delivery or e-filing.
  • Saves time in processing documents.
  • Ease of use and intuitive nature.
  • Easy e-signing workflow with audit trail.
Adobe provides robust security through two-factor authentication and an authorization app. They are easy to use but very secure.
Adobe is well placed against Kofax. Its e-signing is hand-down easier and more robust. That alone gives it the edge.

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

Acrobat is well suited for converting and combining documents for e-filing. It also works very well for e-signing. Acrobat has no functionality to create court/discovery packages with automated tables of content or other features. Overall, it is a great product, and Adobe seems to be updating features regularly.
