Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop is being used by middle school students in their multimedia and art classes. It helps them to become better designers and artists. Members of our school public relations team also use the Adobe Photoshop program to edit pictures taken that will go on our social media sites and website. It allows us to get those perfect pictures out there to represent our school.
Pros
- Editing pictures
- Create graphics
- Export pictures for web use.
Cons
- It is a big program, so load times are a little slow.
- It could be a little simpler for users to learn. It is currently very complex.
- No auto save feature.
- Photoshop allows us to do all of our editing in-house now instead of having to outsource it.
- It allows our students to get a better education when it comes to real-world editing.
Both Illustrator and Canva have similar features that Photoshop does, but Photoshop is by far better than either of those 2 for the number of features that it has. When editing pictures, Photoshop seemed to run a little faster than those other 2 as well which is why we use that one.
