Overall Satisfaction with Adobe PhotoShop

I use Photoshop for various reasons including, photo editing and retouching, graphics, making animated gifs, and, creating video assets. Photoshop has come in handy when needing photos for our websites. I am able to edit and resize them as well as export them for the web which helps reduce file sizes. Having this tool at my fingertips, allows me to make edits and graphics on the fly without having to hire someone else and wait until they are available. I use photoshop on a daily basis.
  • Photo Retouching
  • Photo Editing
  • Blending Images
  • File resizing and optimization
  • Animated Gifs
  • Wish I could create vectors within Photoshop
  • Wish some of the functions were set up the same as other Adobe apps.
  • Ability to edit photos with basic and advance features.
  • Ability to mix images, text, and graphics.
  • Integration with other Adobe apps.
  • Saved our company thousands of dollars by editing in house.
  • Has given us the ability to do things on the fly and get projects done faster.
  • Having the original .psd files saved has given us the ability to go back and reuse and update photos and graphics instead of starting all over again.
When it comes to anything photo, Photoshop is the best tool that I have used. While Adobe Illustrator is great for graphics and vectors and does allow you to bring in photos, I do not recommend trying to create or do any advanced editing in Illustrator. If you must use Illustrator, make your photo edits in photoshop and then bring the photo into Illustrator. You can also do the opposite and bring your Illustrator graphics into Photoshop and incorporate them into your designs.

Yes

Did Adobe PhotoShop live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe PhotoShop go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe PhotoShop again?

Yes

I believe Photoshop shop is great for most things photo. From basic things like adjusting exposure, resizing, and changing the temperature, to more semi-advanced things like removing backgrounds and objects from photos, to so really advanced stuff, it has so many options and features for editing photos. If you're just editing basic stuff like exposure, highlights, shadows, and things, Photoshop is overkill and you can just use a free app or something. If you need more capabilities and advanced features then Photoshop is a great option. I do not recommend it for creating scalable graphics. You will want Adobe Illustrator so you can create vectors.
