Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense

I use it for IR needs. 1) Research reports 2) preparing for earnings call by identifying keywords and themes 3) ongoing news feed and wall street information 4) Overall sentiment on the company

Pros

  • Aggregates all the wall street research
  • AI-driven keyword identification based on themes and keywords
  • Platform is very friendly and easy to use - very robust

Cons

  • Stock, market cap - financial information (similar to FactSet info)
  • Charts and tables on specific stocks
  • AlphaSense could become a one-stop product for all the financial and research needs
  • Deeper competitor insights
  • Added confidence that I am not missing any information on our company or competitors
  • Much better-informed decisions on what information I would like to use in my earnings scripts based on ongoing themes and keywords
AlphaSense is the best platform in the market today. There is no other platform that has the search capability or the marketing intelligence that AlphaSense currently provides in helping investor relations and finance professionals in getting access to research, learning about competitors, sentiment, and further information. It is the best in class.
AlphaSense is much broader in its capabilities and information. Though it lacks the stock quotes, charts, and tables that FactSet can offer so hopefully AlphaSense will integrate this in the future.

It is very well suited as a place to get all the news and research on anything going on with a specific company It is also very well suited to identify based on words and themes that are common discussion points
