Overall Satisfaction with Alteryx Analytics

Alteyx has been used by the Analytics department to extract and manipulate data. We have created workflows that automatically extract information from an API and point to dashboards. We have also carried out some analysis within the workflow to optimise results and have fast answers. Alteryx is very flexible and allows fast data manipulation. Excellent when you use different data sources.

  • Alteryx has been developed for a longer time. The capability to read big files in few seconds is very good and the way the tool is structure is very intuitive and easy to use.
  • At the same time Alteryx gives space for your own way and your own implementation.
  • Aletryx 's service is also very good and exhaustive.
We have used Aleryx to extract data from an API and it always worked perfectly well. The connection was never an issue and the data was extracted within few seconds.

We have also used Aletryx to extract local files in different shape and format, also in this case we never had any issues.
The sharing possibility of Alteryx is very good. When you start a workflow and you want to share with your colleagues and add their part of the work, it’s never a problem. In this way the work can be done faster and final results can be prepared quickly and shared quickly as well.
  • Alteryx works very well when there are different files or different data sources that should be combined together. It is also good for data manipulation.
  • Alteryx can be used to build an ETL for a BI tool.
  • The join and union capabilities are a strong point for the tool. It is also very simple to use and intuitive.
  • I would not use Alteryx if you have few and small tables.
