Overall Satisfaction with Alteryx Platform

Alteryx platform is a great tool used for scalability and features on a large set of data. It is used by my analytics and data engineering team. It requires collaboration across both the functions to produce flawless data analytics reports. Its high-end usability for preparing data before analytics with added features for graphical reporting makes it a pivotal product across departments for decision making. Alteryx is used in all departments especially has high usability in sales and logistics. Reproduction of analytics report is very easy as complex set of queries can be rerun from the stored repository. With high functionality, it acts like a BI tool producing a wide array of results. It is a very flexible tool and produces fast data manipulations.

Alteryx has high functionality compared to Power BI. It has the ability to produce high-end predictive analytics, which power BI fails to do. Data cleaning, data manipulation, and data visualization are way better in Alteryx compared to Power BI. Overall, Alteryx is a better option for high-end complex large data sets that require higher power of data preparation for high-end visualization. This makes Alteryx a far better option over BI.
Data source connectivity is really good when you are using a SQL database. Streamlining data directly through your database into the interface is very easy. Data manipulation and storing data with built-in functions makes the process efficient. Merging data files from multiple sources is very easy. Producing reports in real-time is very easy and highly functional. There are internal templates that can be used to produce high-end real-time reports.
Sharing and collaboration with Alteryx is a very efficient process. We can assign access to a particular set of users. We can control their access to different features and functions, limiting their exposure to data. Data can be easily shared with others with the right amount of access and through the right channels. Report preparation and distribution is very easy, it can be done through different channels. Formatting is very easy and data security is kept as a high priority.
It is a great tool when it comes to preparing data for analytics. It has multiple functions that you can use to better prepare data for different graphical representations. It has many libraries that contain complex queries that can help you do multiple functions without any hassle. It has great predictive abilities with different models. It is very tedious if you plan to use Alteryx with other software. Its integration with other tools is very tedious, it has a lot of issues when running and fetching data between different databases.
