Good software. Still working through the bumps
Overall Satisfaction with Apricot by Social Solutions
We use Apricot to document a client's relationship with the agency. Every staff and client interaction is recorded in a client's profile as well as confidential therapy case notes. We also use Apricot to refer clients across programs within the agency.
Pros
- Custom reporting makes it easy for us to create reports that satisfy particular funder needs.
- Apricot technical support is very knowledgeable and responsive.
- The UI is very user friendly and it has a modern appearance.
Cons
- We received very little guidance during implementation. I believe many mistakes were made in the setup of our software.
- Staff is able to access Apricot wherever because it is cloud-based as opposed to our older system that was on our local network.
- Our agency has overly customized the database and there are many redundant fields that make it difficult to successfully run concise reports.
We have not fully achieved this benefit but we are working towards this by refining the database with a new dedicated Systems Analyst.
I don't believe Apricot has helped the agency secure more funding or secure more diversified funding streams.
I actually believed ETO is a better solution than Apricot, however, Apricot is a more cost-effective solution.
