Overall Satisfaction with Bitdefender GravityZone
Bitdefender GravityZone is used across the whole organization. It basically provides the IT Or InfoSec Manager with peace of mind with its ability to address current threats as well as new ones, including zero-day exploits.
- Blocking of phishing sites.
- A continuously changing solution.
- The possibility of classifying Wi-Fi networks.
- Bitdefender network install/deployment has at times been prone to errors, and does not uninstall well for a clean install, as we have seen in 2 cases in the past. This is one area that perhaps needs a re-visit.
- It is always difficult to justify the ROI of an anti-virus when looked from a cost perspective. However, if viewed from the perspective of risk mitigation, the justification is much simpler, as Bitdefender gives the information security team peace of mind without costing the organization an arm and a leg.
We have not had a single case of uncontrolled infection (like a local computer, if any, getting reported with a pup or possible malware, etc. and getting spread) after the implementation of Bitdefender. The infection risk also has drastically reduced after the activation of URL scanning.
