Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Education Management Solutions (formerly Blackbaud K–12 ON Solutions)

It is being used across the entire school including Alumni, Parents and Prospective Families. The business problems are associated with user support.
  • Data representation and collection
  • Visual display - easy to use once you understand it
  • Messaging system
  • Design capabilities - images and video content are lacking
  • Manipulation of data can sometimes not be controlled well
  • Lists!!!
  • Positive: Up to date lists for students.
  • Positive: Current family data is able to be transferable.
The support is great. There are multiple ways in which I feel supported, but ultimately the program is user-friendly and intuitive which helps me (as someone who navigates both the back and front end of the program).
Suited for academics and open grade book. Less suited in marketing and design elements in comparison to other web designers. I wish the integration of other marketing apps was more applicable to our system. I wouldn’t recommend Blackbaud if schools were giving up their marketing platform e.g. website front end.
