Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans
I use it when I need to interact with teammates/vendors/customers outside of our typical workflow (Office). I'm not sure how many within company use BJ.
- Easy to set-up and invite as a moderator since it is embedded into my email as an app.
- Easy to start the call as moderator.
- Occasionally as a moderator, I have to re-login. I'm not sure if it's my own PC or other settings, but it is a very minor issue.
- Sometimes switching microphones/speakers (headset, business speaker, PC) can cause audio issues. I've found setting it up before the call and maintaining that hardware device throughout the call alleviates issues but occasionally have to switch hardware.
- Skype for Business (formerly Lync) and Microsoft Teams
I didn't personally select BJ, it is an additional service FSI provides us for when vendors/customers/teammates do now have access to VPN or Skype. I have used Skype and Teams extensively and they all have a slightly different UX/UI but offer similar capabilities. I suppose BJ has similar capabilities with Teams (IM, events, calendar, chat, etc), but have not been exposed to FSI's license agreement and feature access that BJ may offer. I only use the call-in/presentation capability of BJ.
