Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans Meetings

My organization utilizes BlueJeans to teach high school classes via distance learning. BlueJeans has proved to be successful in connecting students to courses that they would normally not have access to at their respective schools.
  • Ease of use
  • Recording feature
  • Whiteboard access
  • The knock-knock waiting room feature But, it is my understanding that it will be available this summer.
  • Created more connections.
  • Proved to be a timesaver.

Using BlueJeans Meetings

1 - I think you just need a good problem solver to work on user issues with BlueJeans. Typically, we have seen user error...not product error when troubleshooting with users.
  • Time Saver
  • Travel Saver
  • We record sessions for users that cannot attend at an outlined time to be more flexible with schedules.
We have had a good experience with BlueJeans and found it adequate to accomplish our outlined tasks.

Evaluating BlueJeans Meetings and Competitors

  • Price
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
We all know that different users have different degrees of technical knowledge, so usability is a big feature in our organization. We also need to have the necessary functions to share any item that we would want to share in a normal face-to-face meeting.

BlueJeans Meetings Implementation

Overall, I think our transition to BlueJeans went smoothly.
  • Change is always difficult for some (Commitment from staff)

In past conversations with BlueJeans they have also listened to our feedback. A specific example was that we inquired about captioning of recorded sessions for ADA compliance. They did not have the feature at the time, but they worked on it and eventually did implement this service.

Yes - The mobile interface works fine with BlueJeans. If are users were to access the meeting via this method they would typically only connect their audio and not their camera. The mobile integration has worked fine with our users.
