Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

Cerdian Dayforce is being used across the whole organization. Prior to Dayforce, the company was using multiple applications for various purposes (Ceridian Powerpay for payroll, PDFs for performance management, epost for earning statements, another website for booking time off). We stored all employee data in Excel. With Dayforce, we have been able to integrate everything in one application - we use the performance management, time off, and payroll modules in Dayforce along with reporting and analytics. There is more consistency and accuracy with our employee files and data. The process has been streamlined and employee experience heightened.
  • Customer Support Line - the representatives on the support line are knowledgeable, helpful, and fast allowing us to resolve issues. For example, if I have a question for payroll, calling the support line is fast with very little wait time to reach a representative.
  • Listening to suggestions - having a website where we can suggest ideas allows us to feel more integrated with Ceridian. Having our voices heard and seeing our suggestions become actions is not something we've had before.
  • Performance Management - being able to customize the module more (for example, allowing managers to give ratings to their employees without require employees to provide self ratings)
  • Controls - putting another layer of control in place when someone is added as a Client Administrator in Dayforce.
  • A positive impact - indirect cost savings - HR Administrators save a lot of time when onboarding a new employee, completing payroll, etc.
  • A positive impact - reduced reliance on paper - new hires now fill everything electronically. PDFs for performance goals and reviews no longer need to be printed.
  • A positive impact - direct cost savings - no longer have to use a different time off website.
Ceridian supports our taxes for federal and provincial purposes.
Having a single application has helped significantly with reporting and metrics purposes (turnover ratios, demographics, salary reviews, etc)
N/A - we have been with Ceridian for multiple years but used PowerPay. The decision for Dayforce was easy.
Dayforce is suitable when an organization is using multiple vendors for different purposes. Dayforce brings everything in one program. It's suitable when a company doesn't need a lot of customization and is looking for something out of the box.

Scenarios where it may be less appropriate is when a company wants to really customize the application, specifically to their business needs.
