Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is our system for time and attendance, payroll and benefits management and soon to project tracking. All departments from all locations access Dayforce from their actual location. Very tidy system with many benefits we've yet to get started with as illustrated in the Ceridian Insights conference. We are teaming up with a 3rd party vendor on how to take advantage of this system.

Pros and Cons

Excellent Payroll System
Very strong reporting system
Excellent way to get details on employees

Find that sometimes the system is very quick when selecting a function
Project tracking has been inadequate
Updates have been untimely on occasion

Return on Investment

Less reliance on paper
Enable locations to self-service - so very efficient
Has saved time on the payroll process by 75% from old system

Likelihood to Recommend

As stated, a great payroll system. Based on new developments, it appears that mobile use and compensation recommendations and succession planning are features that will be nicely taken care of. Only scenario I can think of that where Dayforce is not appropriate is if an organization is too small or cannot make adequate spend for it.
