Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

We are using Dayforce Time and Attendance across the entire organization to streamline hours and earnings feed into payroll and to track Time Away From Work (TAFW).
  • The application tracks employee punches for accurate feed into payroll.
  • It is also able to track overtime at different levels of compensation for FTEs.
  • An employee's attendance is easily displayed and calculated for various reasons including finance accruals.
  • We have eliminated the need for manually intensive data input and exchange that was performed by managers and payroll.
  • Reporting functions are good but I need to regenerate reports without the capability to save selections as "Favorites".
  • Initially support was slow and lacking in our US locations although I understand that they have hired and trained more people to make up the shortfall in support availability as a result of the sudden increase in popularity of the product.

An efficient tracking method for time and attendance.
Make sure you set up the project with the right geographic regulations. There may be many depending on the location of a particular workforce. If you are having issues in implementation with regards to the ability to focus adequately on the project, ensure you have the ability to edge out your "Live" date. You need to be up to speed on all the whys and wherefores and this takes a large amount of time and focus. It is always better and less costly to address an issue up front than after implementation.
