We have an academic campus where there is a huge FTTH network providing network services to university residents. All houses are currently being upgraded to the 9200 series platform. The main business problem that is addressed by the Cisco 9200 series switch is the simplicity of replacement and readiness/support for the current and future new tech advancements offered by Cisco.

We just started deploying this platform in our organization. The automation feature is quite interesting in terms of auto service provision for customers. Also, analytics would help a lot, since data can tell the real story and provide some good insight and tips for service improvement.
Yes, this is being actively explored, especially the capabilities of it. Perhaps manageability can reduce manual work and improve the speed of service provisioning.
Since the beginning, we have been using Cisco products. Before that, we used Cisco 2960 switches, and currently, we're replacing them with the 9200 series.
