Overall Satisfaction with Cisco IP Phones

We use Cisco IP Phones across the entire organization. We use these Cisco IP Phones for all desk phones and all public phones. We like the ease to setup and management. We really made the switch to Cisco IP Phones about 5 years ago and have always been with Cisco because we are a trusted and loyal customer and the integrations the Cisco IP Phones have with other Cisco products is great! We currently have roughly 1800 phones in our organization that allow for easily managing reliable communication for internal and external purposes.
  • Cisco IP Phones are very easy to use
  • The call quality is great from every method, handset, speaker, and headset
  • The phones look great and are very stylish
  • Would be nice if ALL Cisco IP Phones had Bluetooth.
  • It would be nice is Camera devices were a standard with the ability to disable if necessary.
  • It would be nice if we could connect the phones remotely to a network via a VPN.
  • Ease of use for end users
  • Cost Savings has increased do to reliability of phones and self user training
  • Can use Cisco IP Phones anywhere and they are very flexible
We have switched straight to Cisco IP Phones without any other considerations. We wanted our phones managed correctly with a reliable solution and this is where we landed. We did not need to check with other vendors or solutions to make this solution. We love what we have now, and we do not have any plans to change anytime soon.
Some people love and hate the cameras. They are great and create a much better level of collaboration, but some people do not like being on camera. They do know they can simply close the camera shutter. People can hear each other much better and can now see each other while they talk, which has been a huge bonus for most.
We have not really needed a whole lot of support. We have had a few broken phones, but support is very quick to help replace these devices if they are warrantied. Our vendor makes this process very easy as well. We do not need to reach out to support very often because this solution works well for us.

We have found so many use cases for Cisco IP Phones and have not come across too many situations where they were not well suited, other than being mobile. We have moved to another Cisco Solution for Mobile communications. We have phones all over the place, in offices, in clinical areas, in lobby or public areas, and even in all of our conferencing and meeting spaces.
