Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Jabber
I take calls through the help desk using Jabber which is tied into outlook via IPFX. It allows me to contact anyone within the company [at] a moment's notice through the search function. This allows me to fix issues quickly and to prevent other issues [from] happening.
Pros
- Quickly calls people.
- Call quality and is very good.
- Is very simple to use.
- Reliable
Cons
- A searchable library of people from a client perspective would be good.
- Displaying organization structure would be a nice feature.
- Not my area, however, it runs smoothly and people are able to use it. It's somewhat a passive background application that people can rely on.
Jabber allows you to take calls via a service desk and has queueing built into it which is obviously better for this role. Teams are a more meeting tool so do not have the same functionality.
