Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings

At Greif, Cisco Webex Meetings is the one-stop solution for all of our conferencing needs, used for sharing presentations, audio conferences, web conferences as well as the integration of 60+ room systems that integrate with the collaboration room option added the experience. Be they daily calls, weekly team updates, or project kickoff meetings, they all get done in one user experience and environment. Greif has embarked on an ambitious upgrade path where we replace, upgrade, and cloud-register all endpoints in 2020--an exciting project, opening the doors for all the upcoming enhancements Cisco has queue’d up.
  • Easy connection
  • Wide platform support
  • Encrypted conferences
  • High quality
  • In-room detection of the endpoint not always working
  • Wireless sharing
  • Reduced travel significantly
  • Makes our team work more efficiently
We get quick response, but all too often tickets are closed very quickly without proper resolution. The log-gathering needs an even better automated tool to give support all the info they need. I admit, a third of the tickets are bandwidth issues, but we cannot satisfy our customers if there are no guidelines on how to remediate.
Let’s say most employees who can benefit from an account use it, and that results in over 3000 users. We are working towards deploying more training info since most users are only using a fraction of the functionality while they could be using the full experience. Further driving adoption will now be quality driven.
They all have upsides and downsides, but Cisco Webex offers a stable and consistent look and feel through the whole product line. Additionally, the interoperability capabilities of Cisco Webex Meetings greatly exceed those of the competition. We will roll out MS Teams soon, and it will be interesting to see how this will stack up.
Cisco Webex Meetings is extremely well suited for the ad-hoc and smaller scheduled meeting. For the really big meetings, different product options are required, and the interface is not that easy to control a huge conference with. iIf you manage an on-the-go mobile team, Cisco Webex Meetings definitely will be a tool you appreciate.

Cisco Webex Experience

The noise suppression is I guess the most used feature in out company, especially with all the covid home work going on. The real-time transcription and note-taking have not been widely adopted as people use other tools to collaborate and primarily use Cisco WebEx for the virtual presence features. I've been using a WebEx Desk Pro for some time now and it really adds to the value of the product thanks to its top quality audio and camera.
We use the endpoints, room systems, phones with the WebEx meeting product. They work great in ideal circumstances but a lot of users still fall back on the old phone audio call to connect to the meetings. Recently we have had a lot of people complaining about quality issues when connecting to PSTN. This is one of the biggest negative experiences with the Cisco WebEx Meetings of all time and has been growing frustration over the last couple of weeks. If anything is threatening the success of Cisco WebEx meetings, this is it.
The fact that the Cisco Webex Meetings product supports end-to-end encrypted conferences is een big plus.
The not so great interoperability with products from other vendors is concerning however.
As a result, many products have been deploys in our company and nobody seems to be able to figure out what conference tool to best use anymore which is a shame.
