We use CodeTwo Email Signatures for many small and medium businesses. It addresses users creating their own signatures and maybe mistyping details or using different fonts from each other. Companies can also easily change what they want to promote at the end of signatures. It is flexible and looks professional.

Whatever your company wants to promote as part of the signatures can be easily changed
Social media hyperlinks can be added/edited with ease

Maybe copying and pasting the text in to HTML, RTF and Plain Text could be made easier.

A company that I support has 5 different departments, so I have set up signature groups for each one, then created mail-enabled groups in Office 365 and added the appropriate members, this is good as each department can have different products/services displayed at the end of their signatures.
Can't really think of who it wouldn't be appropriate for.
