Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense

Concur Travel and Expense is used company-wide in North America to track travel and expenses. This creates easy accountability and insight to travel and spending habits by a team or department. It is easy to approve expenses for my team and ensure that we are staying on budget for the year. It has also proven to make booking travel quite easy as well.

I have used in-house expense reporting that was a nightmare. It did not have a mobile app and required images to be uploaded to a PC. Concur avoids all of that is and is easy to use and makes employees in charge of their own expenses and when they get reimbursed.
I am not aware of what ERP or other software has been integrated with our version of Concur. I can only speak from the viewpoint of a manager who has to handle expenses for a team that is all out in the field. Concur makes this easy and highly trackable with its categories and parameters for travel in place.
Concur Travel and Expense has helped my company adapt, especially during this pandemic. I am able to closely monitor my team and their spending, and also ensure that no travel is taking place. This has kept us nimble and allowed for us to funnel resources where they are most needed right now. Saving money and driving business!
For admin, Concur has made it very easy for managers to track and approve expenses across a wide and varied team.
For the employees, it has put the onus of proper spending and travel on to them. The system provides accountability and employees come to expect that and spend accordingly.

Across the board it has made expenses clean and efficient!
If you are working with a team of employees remotely, or they are in the field, this provides a simple platform to capture all of the spending and keep track of their budgets. It allows for simple approval of submissions and provides clear images of receipts for greater accountability. I would recommend this to anyone instead of using spreadsheets and jpg receipts.
