Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense

It's being used across the organization. The automatic routing takes away the administrative burden and costs and having one app standardizes the process for all employees.
  • Automatic pulling of records from corporate card.
  • Ability to attach pdf versions of receipts for easy review.
  • It ensures routing to the correct people for approval and payment.
  • The process to merge transactions/reports into one is a little clumsy.
  • Some limitations on the fields, e.g. max number of characters.
  • Breaking down of expenses still has to be manual sometimes.
  • The automation definitely saves time and manpower.
  • The standardization of process means fewer human errors.
  • It's more environmental friendly: No need to paste invoices on paper anymore!
User interface of Concur is better and hence makes it easier to use.
The automation standardizes the process for everyone, so employees can channel their work time to more productive uses. By reducing the amount of manual transactions also means fewer human errors, and therefore less problems during audits.
A lot. Now, employees don't have to pile admins with extra work; they can book travels the way they want, and then change them if needed, all without having to involve another person(s). That means less frustrations for everyone! And managers no longer have to track and chase up the expense reports since Concur does that for them. Another big plus is users don't have to check their corporate card statements and manually insert the details into the expense reports since Concur pulls them directly into the expense reports.
I think it is well suited for most organizations, and some features are also customizable to suit the organizations needs, e.g. account codes. It might probably not work for a small start-up company where the load may not justify the cost.
