Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)

As hybrid MSP we use ScreenConnect to manage internal devices to our company as well as managed clients devices. This allows us to quickly troubleshoot, resolve, and monitor a wide scope of workstations, servers, and other devices.
  • Unattended Remote Connection
  • Powerful added abilities such as being able to send commands to the device
  • Allows for high-security options like Two Factor Authentication and allows for granular control over user permissions
  • I personally feel like there is a lot of wasted white space in the UI, and it has performed quite slowly in the past (has since been resolved)
  • While we are grandfathered into older pricing, the new pricing is very prohibitive. If we were looking again we would probably avoid this product due to that.
We previously used LogMeIn but switched almost entirely due to continued pricing increases from LogMeIn. We discovered many additional features that are very nice to have such as the ability to send commands to the computer or basically live chat.
Works well for MSPs or even internal IT departments for remote access and control of workstations or servers.

I don't have any specific examples from my experience where it would be "less appropriate".
