Overall Satisfaction with CrowdStrike Falcon
needed a new EDR as the current on was best at the time and there are way better for the same or better price point. Since our contract was up and the features that was present in the current EDR was outdated and not the best out there. We took a step back and had a look at what was on the market and came down to CrowdStrike as a short list candidate
- better intrusion detection of external devices
- better dash board
- provides suggested best practices for people to follow
- the granularity of role permissions
- the extra cost of Crowdstrike has paid off in remediation of rebuilding an endpoint, cost of rolling out a truck / shipping the endpoint.
- minimal lost of downtime of loss of endpoint pulled to be rebuilt
Just currently replaced the EDR as our current one was end of subscription and took full advantage to review what is currently available and reviewed what was best on the market. We boiled it down to a few and CrowdStrike won out at the end due to features and performance.

Wanted what was the best for our budget as the current endpoint was coming out of commitment and we had a golden opportunity to do a complete review of what our needs were. This was the best product for the price range we had targeted, a bit on the higher side but we could have done better for pricing in negotiations
- rolled it out via intune / auto pilot so every new or reimanged machine gets it by default.
- BlackBerry Protect (CylancePROTECT) and BlackBerry Optics (CylanceOPTICS)
we felt that this was a new refresh as what we had prior was best at the time and there are new and modern approaches to keep the end points secure
