Overall Satisfaction with D&B Finance Analytics
I use D&B for every new customer looking to purchase parts/tooling or rent units from us. This gives us an outlook on the companies standing to know if it is a smart financial decision to lend these companies terms or not.
- Shows accurate company standings
- Provides updates if a companies scores change
- I do not really find anything difficult.
- D&B has warned us when to say no to customers and when to trust. We had used D&B saw a company had an extremely poor rating, our Sales Manager decided to go against the results and rent to this customer anyways. We ended up having to send this customer to collections. We should've listened to D&B report!
When a company shows risks on their profiles, we do not do business with them. We have been burned in the past from not following D&B recommendations.
It is extremely easy to search for companies on D&B even if they don't provide their Duns number. There are in depth searches to use phone numbers, addresses etc. It does not take me much time at all to search, export the report and find the data I am looking for.
I have not used other products like D&B. We started with D&B and never left.
