Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

Deputy is being used for all hourly employees to manage overtime shift calculations and time-off requests. It's really easy for the field operators to log into and put their hours in, and the reporting is pretty straightforward. We have had some issues with time zones because it's being used in a couple of different ones and sometimes the shifts start at midnight. Depending on how we pull the reports changes where those hours end up, which in turn changes overtime calculations.

We have employees who never get on a computer and will with the Deputy app. It has been easier to get buy-in with Deputy than any other payroll software we have used.
We were going to purchase their integration, but that team was so far out in their schedule that we opted to skip and just formatted our own template. It has worked well other than having time zone calculation issues.
Well suited for shift workers in remote locations. Easy to work with the app. Multiple sites and departments are supported well and easy to manage.

Using Deputy

12 - Field operators who never sit at a computer and a few office managers who do.
1 - If you are able to do a csv export and import, you are most of the way there. Deputy walks you through setting up time-off types which is the trickiest bit, everything else is with a very straightforward user interface.
